Last Weekend

We had so much boring stuff to do this weekend - so we went to the beach instead.
The evening caught up with us as we walked - but it looked so pretty that I didn't mind at all. The lights on the pier made me feel really Christmassy. I'm obviously all out of sync.

Lovely scenes! Oh, I am a total beach-bum! I really miss it if I don't go often enough.

Funnily enough, tonight as I was finishing up some work in the garden, I turned on the fairy lights that hang in the trees and starting singing Christmas songs! Just felt right. Must be something in the ethers...

Do you live in Southwold? My fiance and I are big fans of Tim Hunkin and always wanted to go see the 'under the pier show' ... still haven't managed it YET (especially since having moved from London to Bristol) ... sigh ...
