It's Thursday
I have found this to be a month in which it is not good to show what you are making as it may ruin the whole gift/surprise thing. However, this little fella will probably not make it to his intended target due to the crappy cutting out and over zealous use of the glue gun.
He was to be part of a parcel for Suzanne, my Holiday Traditions Swap partner - and very excited about making him I was too. I'm sure I have made many of these in the past as my hands knew what to do - but that last bit was still really tricky and resulted in a stringy glue gun mess (I photographed his good side). Perhaps it was easier when my fingers were smaller. Anyway - I plan to make several more before Christmas but I might give the Pritt Stick a go this time.
I've been looking around for the perfect toddler ride on - one that will last through a few children and won't clutter up some part of my house or garden with plastic nastiness for the next few years. There are some real stunners out there including this one which I can sadly only find at Design Public . Sadly - because it is clearly not available in the UK.
And I just liked this polar bear rocker very much!

Good heavens! What a find, most excellent blog...VERY similar taste, I would like the wallpaper ride-on vehicle for my own personal use. Can't wait to trawl through your archives!
