Tyred Bunny . . . (sorry!!!!!)

There has been a terrible accident involving Mr Bunny, a slightly careless Papa (but we have forgiven him) and a Land Rover.
If fear that he really needs to spend some time in a super hot wash, but I'm worried he won't come out of that unscathed either.

Any tips for a good pre-soaker that gets oil and toxic Norfolk mud off velour would be gratefully received (especially by Celeste and Mr Bun).

On that cheery note ! . . .I hope everyone has a fun and/or peaceful time over the next few days.
Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's Monday

Lots of things to say and show but no time to say them and show them! However, one thing that can't wait is this:
Fret

Camilla Engman is giving all her readers  free downloadable gift tags for Christmas through her beautiful blog. They are lovely, as is all of her work.

Saturday

Still have a cold and now an ear infection on top of it. To cheer myself up I am going to start decorating the house tomorrow and make a version of this driftwood tree from  Coast magazine. Drifttree_copy

A few weeks ago Carrie at apartmenttherapy.com asked if they could do a nursery tour of C's room and I thought it would be fun. It's up this weekend and you can see it here.
Have a lovely Sunday xx

Is it a bird . . . is it a plane . . .?

Letitsnow No, silly. It's a seasonal, very small, clove scented cushion type of thing that can't hang on a Christmas tree because it's got no hanger and anyway it would look stupid as it's too BIG.
I'm not sure if I quite followed the brief for the Holiday Traditions Exchange, but I hope Suzanne likes her decoration.
Oh, I just checked and it does say holiday DECORATION, not tree decoration. Phew.

Sleeping and playing on our hotel bed in Amsterdam. There has been a lot of this as we have horrid colds.

It's Thursday

I have found this to be a month in which it is not good to show what you are making as it may ruin the whole gift/surprise thing. However, this little fella will probably not make it to his intended target due to the crappy cutting out and over zealous use of the glue gun.

Christmasdec

He was to be part of a parcel for Suzanne, my Holiday Traditions Swap partner - and very excited about making him I was too. I'm sure I have made many of these in the past as my hands knew what to do - but that last bit was still really tricky and resulted in a stringy glue gun mess (I photographed his good side). Perhaps it was easier when my fingers were smaller. Anyway - I plan to make several more before Christmas but I might give the Pritt Stick a go this time.

I've been looking around for the perfect toddler ride on - one that will last through a few children and won't clutter up some part of my house or garden with plastic nastiness for the next few years. There are some real stunners out there including this one which I can sadly only find at Design Public . Sadly -  because it is clearly not available in the UK.

And I just liked this polar bear rocker very much!
