Happy Saturday

This breakfast made me very happy for five reasons.

Our honeymoon tablecloth is on the table, bought from a strange field of tablecloths in Hellville, Madagascar ( I don't have a picture of the strange field - I wish I did . . .)

My favourite plate is on the table. made by Rupert Spira, a very nice man and a wonderful and sensitive potter.

There is coffee.

And there are sweet peas.

Reason five is that I can actually see the table which is normally covered in mail, cat paw prints and other family detritus.

What a lovely photo. I hope those gorgeous sweet peas are in one of the little white jugs we had from our wedding - that was their original purpose after all! E xx
